Inside the days of the Roman Empire, an architect who constructed a bridge was ordered to stand under it -- even though the scaffolding was removed. It was fascinating. My stomach burned with eagerness to see their proficiency. I said to myself "This can be a top-notch job." Then I murmured under my breath, "Whatever happened to such pride -- and where did its craftsmanship go? Are there folks around right now with this exact same passion? Besides, do they even care about their work?"

Completely -- some of us do! I came residence from Europe having a renewed "passion for excellence." Each and every so frequently, I consider those builders of the Roman Empire. Bottom-line: Master the art of your craft having a sense of pride. Do honor unto people who had been just before you. Perform your duties in such a way that you are willing to stand behind the work. Be confident inside your skill. Figuratively speaking, regardless of who walks across the bridge -- it'll not collapse.

63 overseas Chinese teens from the United States, France, England and French Guiana, the very first group from a summer camp program for overseas Chinese teenagers, began a 6-day trip to seek their roots in Dongguan on July 17, based on a report from Dongguan Times. They will go to Weiyuan Barbette Field and Marine War Museum in Humen Town,basic cufflink and also the ancient village clusters in Shipai Town. There they'll expertise nearby conditions and customs in Dongguan. Throughout the summer camp, the teens will also discover Chinese Kungfu, Chinese conventional calligraphy and lion-dancing. Different from the previous years, 23 Dongguan students will also participate within the program. Based on sources from Dongguan Foreign Affairs Bureau, every nearby participant will invite three overseas Chinese adolescents to go to their family members for dinner and exchange on July 20. The "Travel to Seek Roots in China" program for overseas Chinese adolescents aims at promoting communication between Chinese and foreign students.
